Boost gauge install is cake...just tap T the hose coming off the FPR (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1512666)
As for the A/F...
What year/engine code is your car?
AWD engine codes supply the proper voltage to tap a wire, I believe the black is teh signal wire.
AWW and AWP engine codes supply too much voltage and you'll cook the gauge.
You will pick up a universal 1 volt 1 wire O2 sensor. A compant called Walker makes, the part number is 250-21000, it costs ~$25. You'll need to have a muffler shop install the O2 bung precat on your DP. Once its installed, run the Violet wire through the fire wall keeping in mind to keep it as far away from the DP as possible so it doesn't melt. Connect the Violet wire to the single wire on the O2 sensor. Next, disconnect your battery and connect the red wire from the gauge to the thick Black/Red wire on the headlight switch... This will be your power wire. Next, find a ground for the Black wire coming from the gauge, you can run the ground on your dimmer switch. Make sure all your connections are good and put everything back together... Thats it!!!

The only thing I would do different from above is connecting the boost gauge to the vac line going to the DV. I know a lot of people put them at the FPR but if it begins to leak at that connection or comes loose or anything you can run lean which is bad. For $2 you can buy enough vac line to get it to anywhere but there.

i know this post is old but....since im getting a ebc i dont want 3 hoses coming off the fpr, so i was wondering which hose is the vac line to the dv? is it the one coming off the top? (for the n249 bypass)

If you did N249 bypass, then the vacuum hose you're trying to find is not the hose that comes off the top of the DV, it is the hose you put a plug in and clamped shut when you did the N249 mod. If you didn't do the N249 pass,, yes it is the vacuum line coming off the top of the DV, assuming that you have the DV installed upright, not reversed.

Confusion here :?
If you are installing a EBC it will not need another source for the boost reading. You get the reading directly from the charge pipe Just T it off from there.
