Just bought my girl an 03 MK4 jetta 1.8T and now we have a CEL P0010 camshaft position actuator Bank1A circuit malfunction. I researched and found out that it might be the VVT that actuate the camshaft or the sensor. And when the actuator goes bad I read that the car would loose power, idle/run rough and the chain might be knocking and since the car is running smooth and punchy I concluded that it would be the sensor and which point I replaced yesterday and now the CeL is back on :/

Not sure where to go from here except getting in professionally looked at.

I'm new to TX/Houston and wondering if there a decent trusted local shop that won't charge me an arm an a leg.

Thanks in advanced for your help guys. Land vehicle Vehicle Car Sedan Volkswagen
