Hello everyone,I was just wondering if someone can help me.I have a 2003 jetta and just recently when i press in on the clutch at idle it has a bad rattle but it goes away when i take my foot off of the clutch.Any ideas anyone?Thanks

funny, mine rattles when the clutch is out. it stops when i push it in. mine has done it since i bought it with 17,xxx miles. im at 63,xxx and have never had any problems from it. could be the throw out bearing.

ive heard the throwout bearings rattle cause theres something plastic in them

Is it a big job to do a throwout bearing replacement or adjustment yourself?

im doin my clutch at school in a few weeks with my auto teacher. if i can ill try to make a mini diy but i wont have time to take many pics cause ill be on a time limit

Most clutch kits come with a new throwout bearing
