I have a 2000 VR6 Jetta, and I finally pulled the (broken) cupholder out. 1J0 858 569 C 2AQ. However from research am I to understand there is newer version? If so, will it still fit in my dash and what part # is it?

also, where can I get a front left grill?

The newer version you speak of is the newer center console with built in cupholders I think. It's a completely separate piece.

And are you looking for the lower left bumper grille or the left heating vent?

Good question. Thanks for making me clarify. It is external so I'm pretty sure lower left bumper grille.

While you're at it, please check for a cupholder.
I know I don't have one of those haha. Contact Auto Haas in New Jersey for something like that :K:

Give them a call and I'm sure they'll help you out.

Wow yours is the old school style. Never seen that before. The one you found would be the newer style. Should still work.
