Recently my MK4 Gti Vr6 lost some horsepower. Now it makes a sucking/vaccum sound when I step on the gas. Sound only lasts for a second. When I step on it, it sucks, then when I push it further down, it stops. It sounds like it is coming from under the upper Intake Manifold, near the spark plugs. If anyone knows anything about this, please help out. If I could possibly do it myself, let me know. It may only be the gasket, can I check that without ripping off the Manifold. The dealerships want $750.00 for parts and $300.00 for labor. Thanks Guys!

Yeah I checked the hoses, but db thinks that those sucking noises are what it should sound like. I must of never really to notice to it. But Thanks anyway!
