Hi, new guy here. bought this car from coworker. Problem is the engine rpm decays ,roughly not smoothly, to zero after some time driving. It's like it's being starved of fuel, maybe. happens at highway speeds, happens at stop lights, happens driving at any speed, but only after it's been operating for 45 mins or more. This has happened to me three times now. Never trips a fault light. took it to a garage, they sprayed out some connectors, it worked for about a month. Some cursory googling lead me to an online Chiltons manual at the library, which suggests that the primary input for fuel is the gas pedal, which uses two variable resistors as inputs for the throttle butterfly. But the Electronic Power Control System apparently takes inputs from a large variety of system sensors. So what do you think, hive mind? start by changing the foot pedal assembly? clean the MAP sensor? when it's running smooth, it's an awesome fun ride. The lack of fault reporting is hindering troubleshooting 8(
Thanks in advance, Martin.
