Sorry for the poor descriptive words in advance:

My front drivers side wheel was 'clunking' in turns. Although I had new wheel bearings pressed in, installed new a new CV joint and replaced the struts, it seems that I have play in the rotor/outer CV connection point and the lower arm opening (which I know should be tight).

Is it a loose bearing? Can I just tighten it down?

Thanks....just returned from a funeral and I'm not the sharpest stick in the woods right now.
