Hello I recently had to change the fuel pump gasket everything is good but now my fule gauge doesn't work it only stays at the half never moves anyone know what it could be thanks in advance

They didn't make sure the fuel level measuring thing was free when they dropped it back into the tank. So it's hung up at the spot where it would measure half full.

Who ever did the job, if it was a shop, needs to open it back up and set it straight. If you or a friend did it then you'll want to set aside the same amount of time it took you to do it the first time and do it again.
Should be fine to re-use the gasket if its not a crush one.

Almost certainly this is the problem.
With the sending unit out, and away from gas fumes, see if moving the float moves the gauge needle.

Less likely would be an electrical problem, like the instrument panel regulator (if other gauges seem off) or a blown fuel gauge.

def either hung up the fuel sender or somehow ruined it.

im willing to bet its caught up.. or not hooked up properly.
