I want to wire a aftermarket headunit into my 02 passat. It has the monsoon system. I don't want to use the monsoon amp at all. The amp ill be using is much better.
I know the speaker ins on the green wiring harness on the monsoon . But how would i power the deck itself? I know under the dash the power runs through the amp to Power the headunit.
how would i wire the head unit up to get its power when i unplug these? Would i have to run the power wires from what powered the stock amp for the HU? I would like to do this install this weekend So any help would be vastly appreciated.
