well I'm selling my old car, and after careful consideration I think i've decided on a gti vr6......what I'm wondering is what sort of 1/4 mile times can these things see and which is more tunable the 1.8 t or the vr6....also which can be faster....I would think the 6 with a good turbo or supercharger but you never know...thanks for any help you can give...

hey ymmit like the name. well, the vr6 is faster, the new one that is. but personally, i liek the feel of the turbo. the throwing of me into my seat after a second is nice. and coming back after a shitty start in a race is graet as well, but the vr6 has more powe, and you could easly tune both! its preference really, there are many forums here about it and it will go down in history as never being solved on which is better.

Also the 1.8T tends to be a little bit cheaper to tune. You can check out OETTINGER.COMfor some increases like from 150 HP to 230 HP and 180 HP to 255-260 HP. For less then 3 Grand.
