i got the block off plate from TT tuning it dont fit so im grinding it down (2L block 97) will make a gasket keep it from leaking or do i have to get a new one made ?
now how do i mount my alt. there only one hole on the plate will my 1.8 8v plate fit the 2.0 ??

do i have to do any thing if i take out my power steering pump? will i have any play or will it be fine ?

if you are doing non power steering u need a different rack and pinion and as far as the plate i thought it fit but i could be wrong.and i believe the alt does fit from what ive heard but im not quite sure about that either

take it from my buddy...first of all the alt should be mounted on the new motor...if its not then the plate should work...also u will need a new rack and just taking out the pump is one bad idea...trust me i have an x-flow swap and no power steering rules

well than down the road i will take out the power steering then

so all the old brakets from the 1.8 will fit the 2.0 that what they told me at Tectonics Tuning
how do i change the studs so the gasket will work
