immobilizer active 2010 passat

Hi guys,
sometimes when i put my fob in hte ingnition i get immobilizer active message and can't start the car .
I put and in and out many times i often i would take many attemps to start almost 10 minutes.
really anoying. i put a brand new battery in the fob and same problem .
how do i fix this problem?
Is there a way i can disable the immobilizer or something.
Just hate going in the and can't start the car right away.
