Importing

I’m wondering if anyone actually knows the requirements for Importing an AWD bora to the US . I heard that the 25 year law doesn’t apply to vehicles that were sold in the US. But I’m not 100% sure if the bora is classified as sold here since it’s not a “Jetta” I’ve been looking into it but the import rules aren’t really explained as well as I need on the epas website. If anyone knows any info it’d help a lot. Thanks
