2009 Rabbit 2.5:
the common 'no power', 'only rev to 3k' etc symptoms.
Codes below.

From researching the topic, it appears the knock sensor(s?) is causing the issues.

I found 2 listed (one green, one grey; one 660mm, one 770mm (or so)), ordered the longer one (OEM).

a) how many knock sensors does the 2.5 inline 4 have?
b) how can I tell which sensor is causing the problem and needs to be changed (symptoms occur what appears to be random; haven't come back over last couple of days)
c) Where is/are the knock sensors located on the 2.5?
d) Need good DIY to do the change

G66, Knock Sensor 2, is the right (towards passenger side, back (rear) of engine), long (760mm) green sensor. With car on jack, easy to get to.
Heat shield (3 bolts, 10mm hex), (axle heat shield, 2 bolts 16mm hex).
Sensor bolt: 13mm hex, torque (seems to be critical): 20 Nm

Also: cleaned the block surface where sensor sits.

Cable runs through corrugated cable tube. Open 3 slips, the pull the cable our of the split corrugated tube.

I had a similar reading from the knock sensor 2 (signal too low). Got them both replaced and continue to have the same issue with the new one. Anybody got ideas?
