Almost never. There are no horsepower gains worthwhile to justify a turbo setup on the 2.0s. They are only an 8 valve motor, where the 1.8s are 20 valve.I'm sort of new here but I was wondering if the 2.0 liter non-GTI can have an added turbo added to it and if so how does it run?
also can you point me to a direction where i could see this setup, or another thread/link... thanks?
psst, I'm not jebus... That would be cool though.alright thanks for the comments, just one question, a CAI is a cold air intake right? so what is the difference between that and a normal intake? also how does a chip increase performance?
Don't dump that kind of money into it.......clean your car top to bottm, including the engine bay, sell it ...then add the money you have saved and get a 1.8t, or a vr6...why settle for just looks? You can have the total package.alright that sounds good, thing is i do enjoy my 2.0, its got 90k miles and still drives good, i just wanted to work on it a little, add a few things, although performace wise i cant really get much more out of the engine, i guess ill have to shift towards looks, maybe change a few things, add HIDs, im not sure if a body kit is worth it, next im thinking new exhaust system, although id like it to sound nice, i dont want it to break the sound berrier.
also where would you recommend i order the chip from?as well as the CAI?
thanks, if you have any comments or suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
