So my problem is pretty self explanatory. Accelerator goes down, car pulls left, lift off, car straightens up.

A garage has checked this and couldn't find a problem (apart from a bent ball joint)
  • Tracking checked
  • Front tyres swapped over to check for ply delamination, no problem there
  • Track rod arm and wishbones all straight and true
Interestingly the car pulls left, but the steering wheel likes to go right! (maybe thats physics compensating for the problem)

I'm told this could well be a diff problem, though I have not experienced any mechanical noise, grinding/crunching anything like that. Still as smooth as always, just not quite pointing in the right direction.

SO....
A) Does anybody have any other ideas?
B) How much is a new diff and is it a DIY job?

Thanks

well get your tires aligned if thats not it. its your tire pressure. its supposed to be 35. on my srt-4 caliber the right front was 50 and the left was 40 and when i took off it pulled so bad to the right it was ridiculous. so try that and if thats it then it was an easy fix :)
