Last night, me and my crew from Jaxdubs went to gainesville to run the 1/4- This was my first time to run the 1/4 in this car. I have been running the 1/8 here at jax, but our track is nothing compared to g-ville.
These were my best 2 runs-

R/T .495
60' 2.288
330 6.128
1/8 9.320
MPH 77.59
1/4 14.376
MPH 93.89

R/T .102
60' 23.18
330 6.179
1/8 9.402
MPH 77.39
1/4 14.460
MPH 96.35

For it being my first time running the 1/4, I'm pretty stoked.

Nice times Wu. It is a little odd that the traps are 3 mph different though, did you mis shift or something? Was the dump tube open?

Nice times. But I thought that .500 was a perfect r/t.

I think it is all in what type of a tree they are running. Some tracks have a .000 sportsman tree, where a .000 would be perfect, a -.001 is a red light. Some have a .500 sportsman tree, where a perfect light will be .500, and your R/T starts on the last yellow. a .499 would be a red light. All Pro trees have a .400 perfect light. Whether your track has a .000, or a .500 perfect light on a sportsman tree, it's still .500 between lights... ( yellow, yellow, yellow, green - 1.5 seconds till green).

the 14.3 was my first run. I did have the dump mostly closed, cause thats the way i had been running w/ it on the 1/8 mile track I usually run. It only seems to do me any good when it is fully open after i am in 3rd. Also I may have let off the throttle a tad early , also due to being used to the 1/8th track.

I was just happy to be at a track where i can get traction. I have never done any better than a 2.4 60' at jax, but last night was 2.3 & 2.2 all night long!!!

can't wait to go back next week--
