I've got oil in my cap of my distributor in my 92 passat. The car starts fine but it will seemingly slip when gassed in gear or out of gear. I'm assuming this is the result of the oil making the car misfire? I'm wondering do I probably just need a new O-ring? Are there any special tools I need to get my distributor off and back on? Is there some sort of timing alignment? I just want the car to run well enough to sell so I can move. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
