Okay was driving along everything was fine. Turned left and heard a serious cracking noise. Pulled over and discovered the my inner driver's side CV joint (the boot was twisted around the whole axle) I guess is completly destroyed.

Any tips or a good how to manual, or something, would be greatly appreciated.

Is it easy to do yourself. thanx

changing them is a pain i have to do ti all the time at work. But my advice to you is buy a whole new axle. Napa sells them for like 60 bucks and they're liftime waranty. If the boot ever tears agin just take the whole axle in and they'll give you a new one. Just becarefull taking out the bolts. Tap the socket with a hammer to make sure it's in all the way. A stripped of bolt is a pain to take out of the axle. And measure the inner flange before you order the axle. There's a 3" diameter and a 3 1/2 " diameter. It'll save you the headache of getting the wrong one.
