Hey everyone, Im new to this forum and I am interested in getting a new muffler for my jetta TDI 1.9...I honestly have no clue about exhausts and I would like to know what kinda I should get. I heard from someone that catback exhausts are not good because you lose torque, and that a dual tip is the way to go . Is it ? I am not looking for a ricer sound, my jetta is diesel and i am looking for a deeper type sound. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

There was a really nice TDI Golf in the DJD/Enfig cruise to H2O. Maybe Raf has some info on it, it was his friends.

thats new to me, someone wanting to putexhaust on a tdi, the type of tip has nothing to do with performance, and catback is the best way to go. Shop carefully and do your research.
