Hi,
I just bought a new lower grill (bottom of picture) and from my research I provided the correct part number. HOWEVER it arrived and it looks different but still fits. Really the only difference is the new one appears it MAY provide less ventilation. Should this be a worry or is it fine?

If a concern perhaps it could be as simple as drilling a few holes in the solid spaces?

Those look normal to me.

The top one is for the passenger side and is vented for airflow to the inter cooler on 1.8 and 1.9 motors.

The bottom one is for the driver side. No inter cooler = no vents.
