I have found that www.vwparts.com, or Impex usually always has the cheapest OEM replacement stuff. They are in Baltimore too, so you can drive to pick it up if you are close.

I think they're only $25 or so at my job. Ill find out on Monday for you.

You have an AVH or AEG engine?

AVH is drive-by-wire, AEG is a cable throttle.

I need a new O2 sensor in my Jetta. I refuse to pay 170 at the dealer. Does it matter if you use a Bosch replacement? Has anyone had any problems? Know of any good cheap websites where I can buy one? O.. It's a behind the Cat, 2.0 2001 jetta.

Thanks

The engine is a Throttle-by-cable. Thanks for any help you may be able to give.

I am sure that it wouldn't surprise you to know that many of the OE electronics in many cars are made by Bosch. I would say that it would not make any difference. We have used many Bosch parts in the past and never had any problems with them. We did put a new sensor in an old 280Z...it was OE and ONLY made by Nissan...it never worked quite right.
