Hi there,

I have a 1999–2006 G-Ford MK4 station wagon. I really like it. I've been trying to use good oil, I change the filters with every oil change, and I always try to keep everything running smoothly.

I also have a lot of fun exploring my DIY skills. I've replaced the shock absorbers, discs, brake pads, EGR valves, belts, bearings, etc.

It's never given me any problems, except for some wear and tear (which is normal). It had 55,000 km when I bought it and currently has 150,000 km.

Recently, the oil light started flashing 5 times before starting and then going out. When the car is warm, it doesn't do this.
I connected the VAG (with the oil warmed up) and got this error:

Friday,19,September,2025,10:41:36:62939
VCDS Version: Release 12.12.0
Address 17: Instruments Labels: 1J0-920-xx5-17.lbl
Control Module Part Number: 1J0 920 806
Component and/or Version: KOMBI+WEGFAHRS. RB4 V13
1 Fault Found:

00562 - Sensor for Oil Level/Temperature (G266)
27-10 - Implausible Signal – Intermittent

I also check the channel 3 (MEAS BLOCK) and it was all OK

After that I replaced the Oil Sensor, and the behavior remains.

Did anyone have something like this or know why this could be happening?
