I have a '98 Passat 1.8T, and I live in the midwest where winters are pretty cold. Problem is that in the winter, the oil pressure light (and really annoying sound) comes on when I first turn the car on, then within a couple of minutes turns off (when the car's warmed up). There's plenty of oil, and I just got it changed in October. Is it the wrong kind of oil? Is it really dangerous to continue driving even after the light has gone off?

Thanks!
