My 04 Jetta has an electric vacuum pump in the lower chassis. I have good vacuum ( in the green on my gauge ) with a plastic T in between the line from the intake manifold to the booster, but I don't think the pump is pulling vacuum when I step on the brake pedal. Does anyone know what activates the pump. The relay is on the pump housing. It has three male spade terminals #1 #2 #5. I'm sure it's not turning. I just replaced it with a pump made in Germany. Thanks.
