i've got a 95 jetta GL with a 2.0 4cyl and 93k miles, problem is, whenever i acellerate hard, the thing sputters and almost dies, then, in order to get ANY acelleration outta the thing i have to floor it so it will downshift, then let it upshift again, it seems like it only has any real power at a certain point on the throttle like 1/4 away from florring it. i also found gas in my air intake hose, and the thing burns oil and takes forever to start during the cold season, if you pump the pedal fast enough it will start, otherwise i have to take my chevy

feul pump? throttle? i've tried injector cleaner already, no help.
