I was wondering since i just bought a 01 GTI VR6, Are all the coils and window regulator bad, or is it just the Jetta, or is a certain year?? It seems like that's all you guys talk about. I would like to know. Maybe I would keep one of each in stock at home.

Please any info would be great, and maybe a website that has recall or TSB info on it

Well I am pretty sure that it is all the 2001 VR6's, but I'm not positive. They did not do a recall, they do what is called a service action. This means that if you need a new one, they will replace it for free even if your warranty is over, but you can't bring it to get fixed until it breaks.
