Remote start problem

Hello. Just got a 2019 Passat rline, the remote start isn’t working. It starts and runs for about 1 second then cuts off. Dash says key not detected see owners manual. I read the manual and understand how it’s supposed to work just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before. Also the radio has “rebooted” about 3 times while driving so far. It’s only day 3 and I’m about to drop it back off at the dealer for good.
