i was gonna do a tune up on my vw on monday and i was wondering wat kind of spark plugs do u guys recommend. also if i should use synthetic oil or reg oil i tend to run the car hard sometimes so i wanna make it last. the car is a 2000 vw jetta 2.0 4 cyl. any help would be great.

Stock OEM NGKs and SYnthetic (mobil 1 if you can afford it)

awsome thanks is there only one kind of ngk or are there multiple kinds. like bosch had multiple kinds.

unless you are going to bring your whole ignition/fuel system up with it, I would stay away from the high bias plugs. Use the OEM (that is the specified plug designed for your car) NGK plug.

Hot plugs will mess up your ride.

If you have the luxury of using Mobi 1, go with one that is High Miles (75,000 and above). I was about to try E3 plugs... but I don't know how it would work.

ive been looking for the ngk plugs u guys told me bout but no one carries em are the boch ones any good?

no autlites
no champion (although fubar will argue this)


i run 0w40 european car formulated mobil 1

i looked em up and a shitload came up they also havemore than one prong on em. they have the standard nickle and the v-power one idk. should i just hit up the store and ask em?

im using the single prong.
the v prong is usually for the vr6

just go to ecs tuning.com click volkswagen
jetta/gti
2.0litre
ignition//electrical
spark plugs
it will directly say in the description which one is for stock heat range/ plug
