Two questions:

1. Can you go directly to any stage? Or do you have to modify thru each stage.
If you have to go thru each stage that would be very expensive. http://www.vwturbo.com/products/items/transverse18t.asp

2. How do these headlights differ from the HID's everyone talks about. These are like $2600. http://www.tmtuning.com/bora/bo_l_112.html

Thanks in advance for the info.

1. Stages really don't mean sh!t. They are a way for a company to show different levels of hp and tuning. There are no universal stages, and no universal paths to them.

Just make sure that with whatever "Stage" you go with to have adequate fueling and tuning so you can keep your car for a while. Not too many companies take care of everything for you. APR pretty much does but there are always many other products outside these kits that are a good idea to make your car more safe and to be able to handle the output of these kits.

Oh yeah, you don't have to go from one stage to another as most higher stages include the parts from a lower stage in the kit. I think companies feel like people will want to buy stage kits rather than kits with other names so they can brag about what "stage" their car is.

2. I don't see any difference in those lights than factory e-codes for the jetta. Call tmtuning and ask them why they are different if you really want to know. They are pretty friendly and can probably give you better insight than we can.
