Strange buzzing noise - VW Touran

Hi,

I have an unexplained buzzing noise that randomly appears in my car. When the entertainment system is off and the CD is out. It isn't all the time but gets quite loud at certain times to the point whereby I have to turn the radio up to drown out the sound.

Any ideas what this might be before I go back to the garage would be really helpful?
