After my 95 Jetta sits over night or during work, when i try to take off my car spits and sputters and a cloud of blue smoke comes out of the exhaust.

Mine smokes alittle after cold starts but I have a computer chip that makes the car run rich.I would think on yours that you need to replace the valve seals soon.

i still have not figured out what it is. i talked to one of my mechanics and he told me it might be a valve seal or somthing that allows the oil to burn when started. he also told me it will not hurt it. as long as it only does it start after it sits for little while. i will keep you posted when i talk to him again.

He said it's not bad? I'd think after a while you'd run low on oil, you might want to check it every once in a while.
