Original equipment sizes for 2000 Volkswagen Jetta GLS 1.8T are: 195/65-15 and 205/55-16

am using 195/65-15 currently but considering new tires.

So Can I not replace with 205/55-16?

Does this mean I've to replace the wheels too? do I have to adjust the speedometer? anything else I need to consider before deciding to replace?

Are there any benefits of using 205/55-16 compared to 195/65-15?

Any views on the following tires:

Fuzion Touring
Size: 205/55R16
Serv. Desc: 91V
UTQG: 400 A A

Kumho Sense
Size: 205/55R16
Serv. Desc: 91H
UTQG: 620 A B

Kumho Ecsta 4X
Size: 205/55R16
Serv. Desc: 91W
UTQG: 420 AA A

---

Fuzion Touring
Size: 195/65R15
Serv. Desc: 91H
UTQG: 400 A A

Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum
Size: 195/65R15
Serv. Desc: 91V
UTQG: 600 A A

Thanks in advance to all of you! :aww::chug::chug::chug::chug:

so the 2 different tire size's are for completley different size wheels the 195/65/15 is for a 15" wheel and the 20/55/16 is for a 16" wheel if you want the bigger tire or the 16" tires you will need to get alloy stock wheels found on the higher class model Jetta's if your going to stick with the 15" wheels that you have then the tire size is correct

the 15 in the tire size 195-65r15 is the wheel diameter.
the 65 is aspect ratio (or sidewall height).. and 195 is tire width in milimeters.
