Hello, I’m planning on turbocharging my mk4 golf. I have the 2.0 SOHC engine. I want to install the turbo kit myself and I care more about cost than horsepower gains. I absolutely love turbo flutter and I wish to have the “easiest” install possible, (I know someone whose had to cut into the bumper to install the intercooler and wish to avoid doing something like this.)

All feedback is appreciated!

(Also planning to paint my pfp car’s wheels gold, should I go for another colour?)

Why turbo a 2.0 when the cost will be more than your looking to spend. Should have just bought a 1.8t

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to buy the 1.8t when I bought my car. I have been looking for purchasing an engine to swap however I couldn’t find a 1.8t and I had also found a good vr6 but the seller bailed out on me.
