does anyone here have a garrett or autotech computer chip in their car? the autotech chip claims better fuel economy vs stock chip under normal driving conditions, is this true? if it is true does the giac chip do the same? which is better in overall performance?

Most chips will claim better fuel efficeint conditions, which for the most part, under "normal" driving is true. I have been in a VR with the GIAC software, plus a few other bolt-ons, and it pulled nice. Your not going to see huge gains on a normally aspirated engine, but it helps in the long run. There are a lot of chips out there, do the research, but I will throw my bias opinion in anyway and say GIAC all the way.
