I have an 01' Wolfsburg Jetta with the BBS rims... and there pitting already... im planning to use them for winter rims anway but is there any way to slow the process? / has anyone else had this problem?

i got wheel cleaner from york VW for my wheels, and it seems to work well.... oh yea, and the kid from Cloister who got on his hands and knees to scrub
that helped keep them clean too my wheels get nasty real quick

Well this has been a well known problem for quite some time. There is a guy that is on www.20vturbo.com that goes by the name of pooz01wolfburg that started a petition that helped him to get his RXII's (the WE wheels) replaced at no cost by VWOA. Here are a few threads about it. I would recommend that you read them and follow what was said in there and it is entirely possible that yours will get replaced as well. Mine have not had the problem however, but I am anally retentive about keeping them clean and don't run them in the winter. Good luck.

Yep, pooz is on the tex a lot, he can also be found at the PAR GTG in Parsippany, NJ every Thursday night. Talk to Raf for that info if you want to show up to that, hes always there.

thanks... im usually prity anal too but the last owner was a busness man who drove it as a grocery getter... witch is nice for the motor and tranny but mad for looks
