i have a 5 speed 95 jetta that wont crank over. i just bypassed the clutch switch, changed relays, new starter and changed ingintion switch. i have pop started the car and i runs perfectly fine just wont crank over with the key. all my lights come on when i turn the key. when i pop started it i turned the key to the start postion and it died. any info is helpful.

Ignition switch would be the first thing I would look into, but you've already done that... Was it a new switch?

On a side note, your screenname is in poor taste.

I have seen this many times. It is definitely the Rotary Girder.

Make sure to get a Non-Deutchland replacement from NAPA for reliability.

yea i only picked the name because thats what my car is dont get me wrong i love the car but seems like when something goes wrong with it its a pain to pin point the problem. also yes the switch as brand new i dont put ne used parts on my cars.

Measure the voltage at the starter when someone else is turning the key. (carefully)
This will rule out ig switch and wiring.
