This just started last week. On the first start of the day, my 2003 Golf GTI won't shift out of first. Right when she's supposed to shift, there's a little bump of deceleration and then a slight jerk and the rpms just keep climbing as I accelerate. After about 5 minutes of stopping, ignition of then on, and trying again it eventually shifts into second and all is normal. I can leave the car for hours and starts right up in a normal condition. It's only after sitting overnight, and it's very consistent, same deal every morning.
