Low oil pressure light while idling.

Redid the valve cover seal and replaced the ignition coils on my manual transmission 2014 GLI 30th Anniversary Edition. Since then, I have been getting the error listed below when idling once the engine is warm. No power loss. All 3 oil pressure switches were replaced without improvement. Changed the oil pump (which was all gunked up). Valve cover seal redone again with anaerobic seal. Changed the oil a few times (after every 6 days of daily driving) with Liqui Moly 5W50 preceded with a 15 min Liqui Moly ProLine Engine flush. Initially, there was a layer of white material floating on top of the oil. This has since resolved and the oil is coming out clean the last 2 oil changes. I changed to a magnetic oil plug to see if it would catch anything (see pic). Likely metal shavings from somewhere. Also again changed the brown oil switch after the last oil change. One shop was telling me to replace the balance shafts, a second that I need a new engine. Can anyone think of any less costly solutions? Thank you.

Thank you and good idea! Will try that. Need to do a follow-up oil change after the LM flush oil change anyway. I will pick up some Seafoam today and then change the oil again in a week or so. Nothing to lose as the only other option is a new engine. Interestingly enough, changing to an OEM VW low pressure oil vs aftermarket switch decreased the frequency of the oil pressure alerts. But still happening.
