I have a 2006 Jetta TDI. The trunk would not close even after slamming it several times. Finally, after slamming and slamming, the trunk latch broke. Has anyone replaced this part? Any advise? I really appreciate it!

its not hard. a common problem. they do break. heres the part pretty cheap.

My trunk latch seems to be going this way too, I was hoping it was just acting up in the cold. Is this just a simple "unscrew, replace, screw back in" kind of job?
