98 jetta crank shaft position sensor?????

98 Jetta ,auto ,2.0 ,130000 Car had been running great then out of the blue went to go out and it just turned over and over and over you get the point then finally it would crank after it hits and runs the car has power no miss no codes no engine light nothing runs great hot or cold dosnt matter you just got ot get it going.Could it be the sensor gone bad ????????or something else might be giving me heck.Ill try anything Thanks

cam sensor speed sensor?????

These are differant sensors I take it?Thanks alot for the reply I will check these both of them I do have a question I'm not sure of.I put a diffeant fuel pump in today I have a extra so it didnt cost a thing anywho with the key turned on should'nt the fuse #18 says( fuel pump)shouldnt it show power constant???? or intermidiate????? it was hard for me to show power at all I turned key on and off several times jiggled fuse finally got it to light up never did get it to crank but once it sounded like it was about to.does this sound like it could be the problem????????????????
