The selector shaft on the O2J I'm using for my alh swapped mk1 caddy just locked up one day while I was trying to adjust the linkages. I took the shift weight off and the top part of the housing also came off easily. But the actual shaft that goes down into the transmission is jammed in there. I've tried looking on a bunch of different forums about removing it but they all say it should just wiggle out, but mine won't move an inch. I'm preparing myself to hear that I probably have to pull the transmission but I'm hoping that's not the case. Anyone have any ideas?
