So I am pretty sure one of the bearings on my input shaft is crapping out on me. I have an 02j trans. Thought is was noise from the clutch, but now I think different. I was just wondering if anyone has had this replaced recently and how much they ended up shelling out for it. Trying to decide which direction to go with this thing.

I am talking about the input shaft that splines into the clutch and transfers power from the engine to the transmission. Looks like I can get a rebuilt replacement for around 1200-1500...I wouldnt think it would cost that much to repair, but you never know.
Ahhh I see now. I'm sure the dealership would have that. I will dig around to see if I can find it.
